Accessibility

Last updated August 22, 2026

The Queen Elizabeth II September 11th Garden is a free, public memorial, and we want both the garden and this website to be usable by everyone.

1. Our commitment

We aim to make this website usable for visitors of all abilities, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technology.

2. Conformance target

We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. This is an ongoing effort — if you find a part of the site that falls short, please let us know.

3. Visiting the garden in person

Hanover Square is a public, street-level plaza with paved pathways throughout the garden. If you have questions about accessibility for a specific visit — seating, step-free routes, or event access — contact us in advance and we'll help you plan.

4. Feedback

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site or in the garden, we want to hear about it. Please describe the issue and the page or area involved, and we'll do our best to address it.

5. Contact

Email us at queenelizabethgarden@gmail.com with any accessibility feedback or requests.
